Shaun Chaiyabhat is an American anchor and reporter working for WCVB-TV as a weekend evening co-anchor and general assignment reporter. He joined WCVB-TV in February 2016, after previously working for WKMG.
Chaiyabhat’s reporting skills are from crime to politics to human interests. Over the years, he has covered in-depth trial coverage of cases of; Casey Anthony, Aaron Hernandez, Trayvon Martin, and Baby Doe. In addition, he began his journalism career at WICS-TV in Springfield, Illinois in 2000, as a reporter. Not long after, he relocated to Champaign, Illinois where he worked for WCIA-TV as a reporter and he joined WREG-TV in Memphis, Tennessee in the year 2006.
