Sharrie Williams is an American anchor working for 6ABC news as the co-anchor of the 5 p.m. and on PHL17 at 10 p.m. She joined the 6ABC news in March 2014, as the anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast and reporter of the 11 p.m. newscast.

Albany, Georgia is Sharrie’s native home and she attended the University of Tennessee where she earned an undergraduate degree in broadcasting communications. Later in 2017, she was awarded the University of Tennessee Alumni Promise Award presented to her by her alma mater.
