Shannon Ehrhardt is an American sports anchor and reporter working at KCCI-TV where she serves as a weekday and weekend sports anchor and reporter. She joined the KCCI-TV team in June 2022.
Chicago is her native home and for as long as she can remember, she has been addicted to sports and spoiled with some of the best franchises in sports history. In 2014, Ehrhardt joined Fenwick High School where she graduated with a diploma in 2018. Later on, she joined the University of Oklahoma where she earned a major inbroadcast journalsim and a minor in sports management in 2022. In addition, while was a Fenwick, she began her broadcasting career as she was the color commentator for the Football team and made her own sideline reporting job her senior year.
While she was at the University of Oklahoma, she gained experience in field reporting, analyzing, sports anchoring, and shooting D1 sports for three different sports shows and a daily newscast. In addition, Shannon is passionate and obsessed with hockey hence she idolizes the Chicago Blackhawks. Her favorite teams are the Bulls, the White Sox, Bears, and any OU Athletics. During her spare time, she enjoys trying new things, being active, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
