Shannon Clowe is an American anchor and reporter working for 10 Tampa Bay as a multi-skilled journalist. She joined the 10 Tampa Bay news team in May 2021, after previously working for WBBH/WZVN.
Clowe received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the State University of New York Cortland. Shannon made the move to Tampa from WBBH/WZVN, in Fort Myers, where she worked as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor. Shannon covered a wide range of noteworthy topics throughout her three years in Southwest Florida, including the coronavirus pandemic, hurricanes, and our state’s water problem. She began her career in 2015 at ABC News in New York City. Shannon was the story producer for every ABC affiliate.
She spent a year working behind the scenes before bringing her skills to the West Virginia highlands to follow her ambition of becoming a news reporter. Shannon worked as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor for WVNS TV, a FOX/CBS affiliate, while she was in Southern West Virginia.
