Scott McGrew is an American reporter and anchor working for KNTV as an anchor on NBC Bay Area Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. He joined the KNTV news team in August 1998, after previously working for KSTU FOX 13 TV.

McGrew began his professional career immediately after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English in 1991 at WMAZ-TV. He worked as a weekend anchor, and general assignment reporter for two years. WTVG in Toledo, Ohio as a general assignment manager in 1993 and was with the team for a year. McGrew then joined FOX 13 TV and started covering technology in 1998 and became the first technology reporter for Fox News Channel during its startup phase.
