Kilbury became part of the FOX21News team in 2016, bringing over twenty years of broadcasting expertise as an award-winning news anchor. Prior to joining FOX21News, he held positions as a news anchor at WHEC in Rochester, NY, and covered news and sports at KOLD in Tucson. His accolades include five Southwest Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards, encompassing Best News Anchor, Best Sports Anchor, and recognition for feature and sports reporting. He has also earned more than a dozen Associated Press Awards across multiple states, including Montana, Nebraska, Arizona, New York, and Colorado.
While pursuing his journalism degree at the University of Arizona, he began his television career as an intern producer at the NBC television affiliate in Tucson. Simultaneously, he served as a teaching parent for hearing-impaired students at the Arizona State School for the Deaf and Blind. Fluent in American Sign Language, he took pleasure in coaching athletics and announcing games for the visually impaired at ASDB.
