Scott Grayson Biography

Scott Grayson is an American sports anchor working for FOX 29 on Sports Sunday and On Deck and FOX 29 Postgame Reports. He also hosts Props & Locks. He joined the FOX 29 news team in June 2019, as a sports anchor.

Before Grayson joined FOX 29, he worked for 97.3 ESPN-FM in South Jersey and while he was there, he covered Philadelphia Eagles for five years. Scott worked at KLST-TV in San Angelo, Texas for a short while and he started his broadcasting career as a sports reporter and anchor. Not long after, he relocated to Altoona, Pennsylvania where he worked at WTAJ-TV, he then also worked at WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Scott also relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia where he worked for WBOY-TV and wvillustrated.com as the leader of the sports department and as sports director in 2005.

California is Scott’s native home and he relocated to Chester Springs, Pennsylvania during his childhood days and was brought up there. He attended Downingtown High School where he graduated proudly. Later Grayson joined Arizona State University where he studied in its Walter Cronkite School of Broadcasting & Journalism and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in May 2000. In addition, he served as a moderator at the National Association of Broadcasters conference and he won the Associated Press “Best Sportscast” award for WHP-TV.
