Sarah Alegre is an American weather anchor and reporter working for FOX 5 as a weekend weather anchor and reporter. She joined the FOX 5 news team in September 2022, after previously working for FOX 51.
Southern California is Alegre’s native home and she came back home after working in the Lone Star State where she served as a producer, anchor, and reporter. She attended the University of Southern California and during her her graduating years, the genesis of the COVID-19 pandemic began. In addition, Alegre relocated to East Texas where she began her career in journalism. During that time, she covered topics such as the Texas and Mexico border and the unprecedented February Texas freeze
Sarah studied at the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California where she earned a Bachelor of Science in communications and a minor in cinematic arts in 2020. In addition, while she was at the University, she screen-wrote her role with Annenberg Media, which was USC’s independent news source. Furthermore, she was an ambassador for the university as a USC Song Girl. During her childhood days, she was a competitive dancer.
