Sallie Taylor is an American three-time Emmy award-winning host who is currently working at WDTN. She served as the co-host of Living Dayton alongside Emily Gibbs at the station.

For her Investigative Reporting, she has won the most prestigious awards in the broadcast business including; The Radio-Television News Directors Association honored her with National and Regional Edward R. Murrow awards. In addition, she has also received a number of awards from The Ohio Associated Press such as Best Investigative Reporting.
Dayton is her native home and she attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she proudly graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast News Journalism. After she had graduated, she was able to secure her first job at WHIO-TV, in 1988. Later in 2007, she quit her job to become a stay-at-home mom.
Later on, she began doing commercials for A-Abel and Troy Ford. She returned to the broadcast business in November 2012 and joined WDTN’s Living Dayton as a Guest Host. In addition, she did intern at WDTN before graduating from Southern Methodist University.
Furthermore, she was named the Woman of the Year by the Dayton Leukemia Lymphoma Society in 2011. Together with her Moms 4 Miracles team, they were able to raise $42,000 in honor of children with cancer. In addition, the team currently has an annual golf outing. In addition, they raised $17,000 for young cancer patients at Dayton Children’s Medical Center and a Springboro boy with cancer.
During her leisure time, she enjoys golf and spending time with her family. Her son also loves all kinds of sports including; golf, soccer, football, and ice hockey.
