While she was in high school, she thought of going to Law School. She attended San Francisco State University where she studied journalism and graduated in 1998. In addition, she started her career in television news as an anchor and reporter. Orozco also attended Missouri Southern State University where she studied meteorology. While serving as a journalist, she has also served as a TV show host, California Lottery announcer, and a television traffic reporter
Over the years, she has been on the front lines of major wildfires, reported on major sporting events, and met the President of the United States the next. In April 2000, she joined KEYT News Channel 3 where she served as an anchor, reporter, host, and meteorologist.
Later on, she has also worked at FOX 40 in Sacramento, California where she served as a show host and meteorologist. While she was at FOX40 that was where she was at was when she became California Lottery SuperLotto Plus TV Announcer from June 2009 to December 2010.
