Romi Bean is an American anchor and reporter working for CBS News Colorado as a leads sports anchor and reporter. She joined the CBS news team in April 2017, after previously working for iHeartRadio.
Romi began her career with CBS News Colorado as a part-time reporter for CBS Colorado Mornings, where she covered the Denver Broncos. She made the most of the opportunity to gain knowledge about anchoring sportscasts, crafting gripping narratives, and fostering relationships with the people of Colorado. In 2018, Romi was hired on as the Weekend Sports Anchor full-time, following two years of part-time morning work. Romi was appointed chief sports anchor for CBS Colorado in January 2023. In the history of Denver TV, she is the first female major sports anchor.
The National Sports Media Associations recognized Romi as co-Colorado Sportscaster of the Year for 2022.
