Riley O’Connor is an American anchor working for WCCO-TV as a weekday morning anchor on This Morning from 4:30 am-7 a.m. and WCCO Mid-Morning from 9 am-10 a.m. He joined the WCCO-TV team in November 2019.
Prior to joining WCCO-TV, O’Connor worked at KCCI in Des Moines where he served as a morning meteorologist. Before working at KCCI in Des Moines, Riley worked in Portland, Oregon, where he also served as a meteorologist for a period of three years. In addition, he also worked at KTIV-TV in Sioux City for three years as a meteorologist.
Evansville, Indiana is Riley’s native home and he earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University where he studied communication and public relations and graduated in December 2000. In addition, he also attended Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in meteorology in December 2008. During O’Connor’s spare time, he enjoys cooking, working out, being outdoors, traveling, joining the beach, and spending as much time as he can with his twin children.
