Rick Dickert is an American meteorologist who is currently working at KTTV. He provides the weather, traffic, and breaking news from SkyFOX during the FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day LA. In addition, he works alongside Bob DeCastro, Maria Quiban, and Marla Tellez during FOX 11 News at Noon.

He earned a Golden Mike Award for best traffic reporter in Los Angeles in 2000. Over the years, he has accumulated many Emmy awards for his segment on Good Day LA. In addition, he started working at KTTV in 1990, as an intern.
Later on, he served as a production assistant, and in 1993, he assisted in launching Good Day LA and the Fox 11 Morning News. Furthermore, Dickert started his on-air career in January of 1998, at KEYT, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara where he served as the weekend meteorologist.
In April 2005, he joined the FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day LA teams. He previously served as the weekend weather anchor at FOX for a period of three years. In addition, he attended San Jose State University and UCLA where he studied meteorology.
Furthermore, in 1994, he was elected a full member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and is recognized as a meteorologist by the organization.
