Richard Saenz Biography
Richard Saenz is an American multiple Rocky Mountain Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter who is currently working at Fox10. He serves as the weekday sports anchor and reporter at 5, 9, and 10 pm on KSAZ-TV and as the sports anchor on “FOX 10 SportsNight.” In addition, he joined the KSAZ-TV news team in April 2003.
McAllen, Texas is his native home, and attended college in the Lone Star State. He attended Incarnate Word University in San Antonio where he graduated proudly. In addition, his broadcasting career started in Midland, Texas where he began working at KWES-TV in November 1994. He started as a general assignment news reporter and worked his way up to serving as a weekend sports anchor
He relocated to El Paso in 1997, where he worked at KDBC-TV serving as the weekend sports anchor. Later on, he was promoted to serve as a sports director. Furthermore, he is actively involved in Arizona charity work, inclusive of The Society Of Saint Vincent De Paul and the Mentorship program of the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University.
