Before becoming a journalist, Renee pursued a career in entertainment on the other side of the camera doing marketing for a movie studio. She started the public affairs program “In Focus: California” after joining Spectrum News 1 in 2014, and since then, she has covered north Los Angeles County as an anchor and producer.
