Before Daphne Bridgerton’s debut in society, Queen Charlotte gives her high praise. This includes the three Featherington sisters, who later find out that their distant cousin Marina Thompson will be living with them for the season.

However, Anthony, Daphne’s older brother, and Viscount Bridgerton, turn down most possible suitors except for the vile Lord Sherbrooke. She is becoming less popular than Marina, which makes the Queen and Lady Featherington angry. At the same time, Anthony’s old friend Simon Basset, who is now the Duke of Hastings, comes back to London after his father dies. His old friend Lady Danbury convinces him to join the season, where he meets both Anthony and Daphne.

Anthony breaks up with his lover Siena Rosso and then makes a promise to Daphne that he will marry Berbrooke. However, this makes Daphne very unhappy. Additionally, Marina is confronted by Lady Featherington, who has figured out that she is pregnant. Berbrooke confronts Daphne after following her from an event, and she hits him in self-defense. Simon, who had already arrived moments before, suggests that they act like they are courting to improve her chances and free him from any of his own. Rege-Jean Page Dungeons and Dragons

Page plays the role of Xenk Yendar in the American comedy films. With a charm, Simon brings the dead back to life for long enough for each of them to answer five questions. Additionally, the dead bodies show that they gave the Helm to Xenk Yandar, a knight who left his home country of Thay when Szass Tam turned the people who lived there into an army of people who were dead. One body is left “alive” because no questions are asked enough.

Xenk leads the group through the Underdark to get the Helm. That happens after making Edgin swear that he will give any prize he gets to the people. However, they find the treasure with the help of a teleportation staff that Holga’s ex-husband gave her. But then Sofina sends Thayan killers to attack them. Before leaving, Xenk beats off the killers and helps the group get away from the fat red dragon Themberchaud.

Simon is having trouble getting the hang of the Helm’s power, so they plan to use the staff to get into the vault while the games are over. When Simon and Holga break through the magically locked door, they find a magical trap in the room that is otherwise empty. Edgin is restrained by Sofina, who is dressed as Kira. The group is caught and made to play in the games, but they get out of the stadium. Doric finds out that Forge has put the wealth on a boat and is getting ready to run away. The group takes the boat for themselves and saves Kira from Forge, who was threatening to kill her.

As they run away, the group realizes that Sofina planned the games to get a lot of people to come and use the curse that killed Thay to turn them into an army of zombies. However, with the transportation staff, the group brings Forge’s stolen goods off the boat. He then spreads them across the city by hot air balloon, getting people to leave the stadium before Sofina’s spell takes effect.

Sofina attacks the group because she is angry about losing, but Simon learns magic and breaks Sofina’s time-stop spell. This lets Kira use the invisibility ring that Edgin and Holga gave her as a child to put an anti-magic bracelet on Sofina. Sofina dies when Doric attacks her as an owl bear. After that, he gets crushed by falling objects, but Holga dies from her injuries.

However, he uses the tablet to bring her back to life, even though he knows that he only wants to bring back his wife for himself and that Holga has become a real part of the family. Doric lets Simon know that he is interested in a relationship. Nevertheless, when the old Lord of Neverwinter is healed, he names the team heroes of the realm. Xenk sends Forge to Revel’s End, but he has a terrible time getting away like Edgin and Holga did when they were not let go.
