Randy Scott is an American sports anchor who is currently working at ESPN. He serves as the co-anchor of Sportcenter from Thursday-Saturday at 7 am alongside Nicole Briscoe. In addition, he joined the ESPN team in June 2012, as ESPN’s flagship news anchor and information program.
Previously, he worked at WNUR sports radio where he served as a sports anchor. From 2010 to 2012, he at NESN in Boston where he served as an anchor and reporter, from 2005 to 2006, he worked at WNEG-TV in Toccoa, Georgia where he was a sports director, from 2004 to 2005, he also worked at KSWO-TV in Lawton, Okla serving as an anchor and reporter, and from 2006 to 2010, he worked at WINK-TV in Fort Meyers, Florida.
While serving as a journalist, he has earned; the Society of Professional Journalists and Florida’s Associated Press. In 2008, he won the Best Sports Feature award for “Deaf Softball Star.” Furthermore, in 2005, he was awarded by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters “Best Sports Promotion” honors. Vienna, Virginia is his native home. He attended Northwestern University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 2004.
