Rana Novini is an American Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor working for NBC 4 New York as the weekend evening anchor at 6 pm and 11 pm. She joined the NBC 4 team in 2016.
Ohio is Novini’s native home and she attended American University where she earned a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Vocal Performance. Rana is also eloquent in Farsi and conversational in Spanish. While working at NBC 4, as a reporter, she covered the station’s COVID-19 coverage. In addition, she was honored in January 2021 with the prestigious Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award.
