Raegan Medgie is an American Emmy-winning reporter and meteorologist working for FOX 5 on Good Day New York and The Noon. She joined the FOX 5 news team in June 2017.
For over two decades, Medgie has served as a reporter. During a one-year online weather forecasting program at Penn State University’s Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science, Raegan earned her meteorologist title in December 2021. Before she joined the FOX 5 news team, she worked at The Weather Channel and while she was at the station, she assisted in launching AMHQ with Sam Champion.
While being based in New York, she serves as the Northeast Correspondent and she joined the “Wake Up With Al” team. As she worked at MSNBC, she crisscrossed the country while humanizing the aftermath and chasing storms. In addition, she has also worked at WCBS/CBS2 New York where she served as a general assignment reporter covering breaking news. Maggie has also worked for CBS-FM where she served as a filled-in as entertainment reporter.
Prior to relocating to New York, Raegan worked at WNEP (ABC) Newswatch 16 in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she served as an anchor and reporter. She has also worked at WETM (NBC) in Elmira, New York and while she was there, she earned an Associated Press Award for Best Enterprise Reporting. In addition, she has also worked at TV2 News in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, she started her career as a reporter at Temple Update, which is the student-run TV station in Temple University in Philadelphia. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is Medgie’s native home and during her spare time, she enjoys hopping on her Peloton before 3:30 a.m, a great cup of coffee, and spending ample time with her friends and family.
