Pierre Noujaim Biography

Pierre Noujaim is an American sports anchor and reporter working for FOX 9 as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. He joined the FOX 9 sports team in January 2018, after previously working for KXTV News.

Sacramento, California is Noujaim’s native home and he attended Jesuit High School where he graduated with a diploma in 2002. Later in 2004, he joined San Jose State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television and Film in 2007. Pierre’s knowledge of the broadcasting industry started in 2003 when he joined KHTK radio station in Sacramento, California. He later transitioned to television sports in 2008, when he joined KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado where he served as a sports reporter.

Not long after, Noujaim relocated to Waco, Texas where he worked for the KCEN’s sports team, and in 2012, he was promoted to sports director. While serving as the sports director, he covered numerous events such as; NCAA basketball tournaments, Big 12 men’s and women’s basketball, and D-1 football. Texas made quite the expression on his and thus he considers it his second home.

In addition, he relocated back to his hometown, Sacramento in 2015, and joined KXTV as a sports anchor and reporter. While he worked at KXTV, he was able to cover; Super Bowl 50, the 2016 Stanley Cup Final, the Sacramento Kings, and the 2016 NBA Finals. During his free time, he enjoys, trying to improve his cooking skills, swimming, boating, and kayaking.
