Phoebe Tonkin is an Australian actress best known for H2O: Just Add Water (2009), Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010), and The Secret Circle (2011-2012). She rose to fame after starring in the TV Series The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017).

Tonkin took dance classes in traditional ballet, hip-hop, contemporary dance, and tap dance when she was four years old. Tonkin started taking classes at the Wharf Theatre’s Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) when he was 12 years old. She finally finished high school at Queenwood School for Girls.
