Phillip Palmer is an America anchor and reporter working for ABC 7 as a weekday midday anchor and community reporter. He joined the ABC 7 team in 1998, as a morning show anchor, weekend anchor, and general assignment reporter.
Lawton, Oklahoma is Palmer’s native home, and his family moved around so many times thus he has also resided in; Wichita, Kansas, Little Rock; Arkansas, Memphis, Tennessee; Evergreen, Colorado; Shreveport, Louisiana. While Phillip resided in his adopted home of West Monroe, Louisiana, he graduated from high school in 1981. Later on, Palmer joined Northeast Louisiana University where he earned a degree in journalism and a minor in radio/TV/film in 1995.
In addition, Philip began his broadcasting career in West Monroe at KNOE AM/FM radio in 1985, where he served as a sports reporter. In 1990, he relocated to Wichita, Kansas where he worked at KAKE as a weekend sports anchor. Furthermore, Palmer also worked at KCNC in Denver, Colorado from 1994, and while he was at the station, he served as the morning news anchor. He is also a huge supporter of organ donation and in March 2007, he did donate a kidney to his friend, Dale Davis,
