Paul Michael Lisnek is an American multi-Emmy-winning analyst working for WGN-TV as a political analyst hosting, Politics Tonight on CLTV. He has served as the political analyst for WGN-TV since 2008.
Over the years, Paul has won many Emmy, Beacon, Cablefax, and Telly awards for his television hosting and analysis. While serving as a political analyst, he has made appearances in all of WGN’s newscasts discussing political issues of the day. In addition, while he serves as the host of Politics Tonight on CLTV, he has had the opportunity to interview leading political figures in the state, city, and country and served as a fill-in anchor. For the last 25 years, Lisnek has interviewed congressmen, mayors, local representatives, senators, governors, and presidents.
In addition, Lisnek also served as the host of a podcast known as Behind the Curtain that airs on wgnradio.com. The podcast addresses; theatre, politics, and other areas of interest to Chicagoland. He is a frequent guest on WGN-AM radio programs and other radio stations such as NPR where he often talks about politics as a guest. Furthermore, he serves as the anchor of Newsmakers a host of Broadway in Chicago Backstage.
