Pam Cook is an American anchor and business reporter who is currently working at KTVU. she serves as the co-anchor of Mornings on 2 alongside Sal Castaneda, Dave Clark, Frank Mallicoat, and Mike Mibach.
While Cook was in high school, she dreamt of becoming a journalist, however, her father talked her into something more practical. In 1983, she joined the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated in 1987, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. In addition, she also attended journalism classes and contributed to the school paper.
San Diego is her native home and she began working in her hometown in the financial district as an accountant. She worked her way up to the trading floor of Montgomery Securities. Later on, she began working on the Marin Report show where she produced, wrote, and reported on many local stories.
