Owen Conflenti is an American anchor who is currently working at KPRC 2. He serves as the weekday morning anchor from 4:30 am to 7 am. In addition, he joined the KPRC 2 team in 2005.
He attended Emerson College in Boston where he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. He stated that he wanted to pursue a degree based in broadcasting because he thought it was a profession he was going to enjoy. Later on, he began his journalism career at WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina where he served as a reporter.
He worked at WNCT-TV primarily as a weekend anchor and reporter for a number of years. Later on, he joined the KPRC 2, news team. Since he joined the KPRC 2 team in 2005, he has contributed to the station’s web presence, aside from his coverage.
