Otis Livingston Biography
Otis Livingston is an American sports anchor working for CBS New York as a weekday sports anchor. He joined the CBS2 news team in 2009, after previously working for NBC4.
Otis Livingston Career
Over the years, Livingston has earned multiple Emmy Awards. While he worked for NBC4, he reported on; the Stanley Cup Finals, the U.S. Open Tennis Championship, the World Series, two U.S. Open Golf Championships, the New York City Marathon, the NBA Finals, and horse racing’s Triple Crown races. In addition, Livingston carried the Olympic torch through Harlem as part of the torch’s world tour leading up to the Summer Olympics in Athens.
Otis has also worked for NBC’s coverage of the Athens Games as a studio host and a field reporter for the Torino Olympics. He has also worked as a sideline reporter for the New York Giants pre-season games. He has previously worked for WWOR-TV as a weekday sports reporter and weekend sports anchor for two years. Furthermore, he also served as the host of “Sports Team Wrap-Up,” while working at WWOR-TV. In addition, before Livingston joined WPHL-TV, he worked for WPHL-TV in Philadelphia where he served as a weekend sports anchor/reporter, and host of “Sunday Sports Express,” which is a half-hour sports wrap-up show.
Furthermore, Otis has also served as a fill-in co-host of the weekly show with Eagles Head Coach Ray Rhodes. Prior to that, he also worked at WTVO-TV in Rockford, Illinois where he served as a weekend sports anchor/reporter for two years. Livingston is a board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Philadelphia chapter. In addition, he is also a board member of the New Jersey Music Workshop for the Arts. He attended the University of Idaho where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications. Otis is also a member of the 1988 Kansas University basketball team that won the national title.
