Omar Tellow Biography
Omar Tellow is an American sports anchor who is currently working at WTWO. He serves as the weekend sports anchor at the station. In addition, he joined the WTWO team in February 2018 as a weekend sports anchor.
Previously, he worked at WPSD TV in Paducah Kentucky where he served as a sports reporter and photographer. His television career started at KFVS in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and later on, he moved to KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri where he served as a weekend sports anchor.
He attended the Midwest Sportscasters School in St. Louis where he graduated proudly. Later on, he joined the University of Missouri where he graduated with a major in Communication. During his senior year, he interned at KMIZ TV and worked on the radio where he did play-by-play sports.
During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing football, cheering on the USC Trojans and Los Angeles Chargers teams, and playing golf and tennis.
