Olivia Whitmire is an American sports anchor and reporter working for News 19 as the sports director a position she took up in April 2022. She joined the WHNT sports team in July 2018, as a multimedia journalist.
The metro Atlanta area is Whitmire’s native home and she loves cheering on her Atlanta sports teams. However, she is forever loyal to her collegiate sport, Roll Tide! Olivia’s childhood days, she had set out her mind on working in the sports broadcasting business. While growing up, she was a fan of the University of Texas, however, Whitmire joined the University of Alabama in 2014, and later in 2018, she graduated from the university with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication and film with minors in both communication studies and sports journalism.
