Nia-Malika Henderson is an American anchor and reporter working for CNN as a Senior Political Analyst. She joined the CNN news team in April 2015, after previously working for The Washington Post.
Henderson works for CNN as a senior political reporter, where he writes about the politics, policies, and people that make up Washington. Henderson writes for the network’s websites and TV shows, and she is a regular guest on CNN’s Inside Politics, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, and CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. She began working for the network in 2015 and most recently covered the 2016 election, the transition to the White House, President Trump’s government, and the Democratic Party. During the 2016 election season, she wrote about both Democratic and Republican candidates. She wrote about Bernie Sanders’s unexpected campaign, Ben Carson’s unusual run, and Donald Trump’s changes to the Republican Party.
Henderson was a national political writer for The Washington Post before she joined CNN. There, she covered the White House, the 2012 presidential campaign, and the 2010 midterm elections, and was in charge of the Post’s Election 2012 blog.
