Myles Boyns is an American anchor and reporter working for KBFX as a Sports Anchor and reporter. He joined the KBFX news team in August 2021, after previously working for KGWN.
Boyns was raised in Northern California and later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended high school. His educational journey led him to Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in communications. Along the way, he served as a columnist, reporter, and photographer for the PSU Vanguard, and he secured an internship with KOIN 6 News. Following his graduation, he volunteered as a Sports Reporter for Lewis & Clark College. Soon after, he secured his first on-air position at KGWN (Wyoming News Now) in Cheyenne, Wyoming. During his two years there, he worked as a Multimedia Journalist and Weekend Sports Anchor, anchoring multiple newscasts. Currently, he is part of the KBAK/KBFX Eyewitness News Team as your Sports Anchor and Reporter.
Outside of the camera, he enjoys activities such as running, exploring different restaurants, watching TV, and spending time with friends. His favorite sports teams are the Golden State Warriors and the Philadelphia Eagles.
