Mo Carter is an American sports anchor working at FOX 54, where he serves as the sports director and multimedia journalist. In addition, Carter has worked at FOX 54 from March 2016 to 2026; he has been at the station for over 10 years.

Carter was born and brought up along the bayous of Napoleonville, Louisiana. During Mo’s childhood days, he was always actively involved in the church, thus building his public speaking skills. Over the years, Mo has earned a number of AP awards in addition to covering a number of top-notch sporting events. During this time, he covered college sports, and he edited and produced stories for the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm newscasts. Not long after joining the KALB station, he was promoted to serving as the station’s sports director.

Not long after, Mo relocated to Alabama, where he worked at Alabama News Network. While he worked at Alabama News Network, he got to understand how intense the Auburn-Alabama rivalry is. During his time at the station, he produced and anchored sports during the 5:30 pm, 6 pm, 9 pm, and 10 pm newscasts. In addition, Carter also produced and hosted a 30-minute Friday night football show, Mo & Longshore.
