Mike Thomas is an American meteorologist who is currently working at FOX 5 DC. He serves as the weekday morning meteorologist from 4 am to 6 am at FOX 5 DC. In addition, he is also a graphics production lead.
Prince Georges County is his native home and he attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he studies physics and mathematics before completing his degree at Penn State University in meteorology. In addition, he also attended DeMatha in Hyattsville, Maryland.
He previously worked for a Commodity Weather Group in Bethesda, Maryland which is one of the best forecasting firms for commodities on the New York Stock Exchange. While he was on the firm, he served as a meteorologist and his time there assisted him to hone both my forecast and communication skills. Furthermore, in the year 2011, he served as an intern for Tucker Barnes and Tony Perkins.
During his downtime, he enjoys watching hockey and his favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins.
