Mike Tank is an American anchor who is currently working at WTWO. He serves as the 11 pm co-anchor alongside Shelby Reilly.
Previously, he worked in stations in Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Iowa. He has also served as a play-by-play announcer, voice talent, and show host for PGA TOUR Entertainment, Fox Sports, ESPN, and other cable networks. Not long ago, he operated a video production business in the Atlanta metro area.
He was brought up on a farm in southern Minnesota where he assisted his family raises livestock, plowing, and planting. While he was in high school, he played football and basketball, and while in college, he was a football walk-on. In addition, he once drove for seven hours to watch Terre Haute South take on Bedford North Lawrence and Damon Bailey. He also did drive through a blizzard to watch Bobby Knight’s Hoosiers beat Iowa State.
