Michael Raimondi Biography
Michael Raimondi is an American anchor and reporter working for 3TV as a weekday reporter and weekend anchor. He joined the Arizona Family in April 2022, after previously working for KPHO-TV as a reporter.
Methuen, Massachusetts is Raimondi’s native home and he was brought up 25 miles north of Boston. While he was in high school, he took up journalism classes, and that made him realize that he wanted to build a career in journalism. Michael attended Lyndon State College in Vermont where he studied from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Journalism Arts. In addition, during his senior year at Lyndon State College, he became the captain of the baseball team as a pitcher.
After completing his education, he was able to secure his first job at KBJR 6 in Duluth, Minnesota where he served as an anchor and producer for the weekday morning show. Raimondi’s coverage on Team Shuster which was about a curling team that won gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics, won a Wisconsin Broadcasters Award. Michael relocated to Fort Myers, Florida where he worked at NBC-2 as a reporter after having worked for two years in Northern Minnesota.
Furthermore, after having worked at NBC-2 for six months, he was promoted to being the weekend morning anchor and also served as a reporter three times a week. While he worked in Southwest Florida, he covered huge storied such as the algae crisis. For the next three years, he served as the go-to-repoter in southwest Florida for water stories for the next three years, covering local water groups, politicians, and massive projects to try and reduce algae and red tide. During his leisure time, he enjoys; getting outside, hiking, and good food.
