Michael Page Biography
Michael Page is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist working for WCVB as a weather producer and meteorologist. He joined the WCVB team in June 2022, after previously working for the Weather Channel.
The south shore of Boston in Hingham, Massachusetts is where Michael was brought up and from a very young age, he has decided that he would become a meteorologist. While attending middle school, Page observed and forecasted weather in addition to operating his own weather website right through high school. After having graduated from high school. he joined The Pennsylvania State University where he studied meteorology. Furthermore, he also presented weather forecasts on the campus television station, WPSU-TV, while he was in college. Later on, Michael interned at WCVB for two years while still in college.
Before Page joined WCVB, he worked for the Weather Channel where he served as a freelance contributing meteorologist. While he was at the station, he covered many winter storms affecting New England and Hurricane Henri. Prior to that, he worked at NECN and WBTS-TV in Boston where he served as a meteorologist from 2015 to 2020. In addition, as Michael worked at WBTS-TV, he covered everything from hurricanes to tornadoes to blizzards that produced record-breaking coastal flooding in Boston.
Furthermore, Page won an Emmy award for his coverage of climate change and its impact on New England. Page started his meteorology career at WVNY-TV and WFFF-TV in Burlington, Vermont. While he worked at WFFF-TV, he covered a historic ice storm and the area’s recovery from Tropical Storm Irene.
