Meghan Packer is an American anchor and reporter working for CBS46 on Saturdays from 6 am-7 am and 9 am-10:30 am and on Sundays from 7 am-9 am. She joined the Atlanta News First team in November 2015.
Suburban Philadelphia is her native home and she attended Elon University in North Carolina where she earned a degree in broadcast communications and a minor in Spanish. While she was at the University, she was awarded a number of awards and recognitions for her work in the student news program. In addition, Meghan has also studied in Ireland and Costa Rica.
She relocated to Atlanta after working at WFMZ in Allentown, Pennsylvania for two years. Prior to relocating to her native home, she spent a number of years in North Carolina. Packer has also worked at WWAY in Wilmington and at WFMY in Greensboro where she served as an anchor and reporter. During her leisure time, she enjoys experiencing everything that Atlanta has to offer from sporting events to the theater to the great restaurants.
