Megan Parry Biography
Megan Parry is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist who is currently working at ABC 10 where she serves as a morning and midday newscast meteorologist. She joined the ABC 10 San Diego team in 2014, and in addition to her duties at ABC 10, she is also a licensed Realtor working at one of San Diego’s Premier Real Estate Teams called San Terra Properties of Tierrasanta.
She worked at the California Environmental Protection Agency where she served as an Environmental Scientist before she joined Mississippi State University. While she was in Mississippi, she was able to secure a job at WTOK, an ABC affiliate in Meridian where she served as a weekend meteorologist from October 2011 to April 2012. While she worked at WTOK, she stormed chased in the Great Plains and witnessed the damage caused by the 7th-deadliest tornado on record, the 2011 Joplin, Mo, an EF-5 tornado.
Parry later relocated to Medford, Oregon where she served as an evening meteorologist from 5, 6, and 6:30 p.m at KDRV. While she was in Medford, she hosted the annual Pet Fashion Show and volunteered at the local animal shelter. In addition, she was voted the second Most Popular TV Personality in Southern Oregon while she served as the evening meteorologist at KDRV. Megan enjoys volunteering at the San Diego Humane Society as she loves animals, especially dogs. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and a good craft beer.
