Meg McNamara is an American meteorologist working for WJZ-TV as a weekday and weekend weather anchor. She joined the WJZ’s First Alert Weather team in June 2017.
Seattle is McNamara’s native home and since she was 7 years old, she has always been captivating her audience. She attended Loyola Marymount University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre. Prior to her graduation, she interned at the Dr. Phil Show, where she served as a talent coordinator for 2 years. While she worked at the Dr. Phil Show, she discovered her love for storytelling and that later led her to broadcasting.
