Daniel joined the WBRC 6 weather team in August 2018 as a digital meteorologist and weather producer. Prior to joining the WBRC 6 weather team, Matt worked at WMAZ 13 in Macon, Georgia. While at WMAZ 13, he served as a weekend and morning meteorologist for four years.
Georgia is where Matt was born and brought up. Daniel attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in Geography and Atmospheric Sciences in 2009. In addition, DURING HIS TIME AT CNN, he covered natural disasters such as earthquakes and droughts, including Haiyan. More to that, he also covered plane crashes, tsunamis, floods, and severe weather.
