Marvin Gomez is an American meteorologist working for NBC10 and Telemundo62 as a bilingual meteorologist on weekday mornings at 11 am and weekend mornings. He joined the NBC10 and Telemundo62 news team in July 2022 after previously working for AccuWeather.
Marvin graduated from Penn State University with a certificate in weather forecasting and Lewis University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. He also graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in geosciences. In July 2022, Marvin started working at NBC10 and Telemundo62. His experience covering all forms of extreme weather around the nation has grown throughout his career. Hurricanes Ida, Eta, Iota, Matthew, Florence, Laura, Maria, and Michael are just a few of the well-known storms that Marvin has covered.
Marvin relocated to Philadelphia from State College, Pennsylvania, where he worked as an AccuWeather bilingual meteorologist. He was the first Latino Central American meteorologist on an English-language network while he was employed at AccuWeather.
