Martin Soong is an Asian anchor who is currently working at CNBC Asia. He serves as the co-anchor of Street Signs alongside Oriel Morrison. In addition, he joined the CNBC Asia team in 1993.

Previously, he served as the morning co-anchor of Asia Squawk Box. Squawk Box sets the news agenda in the region every day, bringing viewers news and views from the top CEOs, asset managers, and newsmakers as Asian markets open for trade. In addition, he is among the founding anchors of the network.

He has dominated the business of television in Asia for over twenty years. Over the years, he has covered the Asian financial crisis, reported widely, from ASEAN summits and APEC to post-conflict zones like East Timor.
