Martin Lowrimore is an American meteorologist and reporter working at 40/29 where he serves as a weekend meteorologist. He joined 40/29 news in June 2020
Panama, Oklahoma in Leflore County is his native home and he attended Panama High School. In August 2015, he joined Carl Albert State College where he graduated with an Associate of Science in physical science in May 2017. Later on, he joined the University of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor of science in atmospheric sciences and meteorology in May 2020. In addition, he interned at the NBC affiliate in Fayetteville and in Oklahoma City at KOKH.
While growing up in Oklahoma, he experienced a number of the area’s most memorable severe weather events like; the 2013 tornado outbreak, the ice storm of 2000, and the 2019 flooding many others. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing disc golf with friends, visiting vintage gaming stores, and occasionally playing a bit of music.
