Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Communication (Broadcast) at Mississippi State University in 2001. He was a sports anchor and reporter at WAFF in 2001, where he worked for two years. He then moved on to WKRC in 2003. Marshall’s experience as a sports MMJ, anchor, and storyteller took him from Columbus, Mississippi, to Huntsville, Alabama, to Cincinnati. He was also a Sports Director at KOVR-TV CBS Sacramento, where he built a sports department from scratch.
