Marina Marraco is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at FOX 5 DC. She serves as the anchor of FOX5LION which airs at 5 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm.
Miami is her native home. For most of her life, she has resided in Northern Florida and South, Central. She attended The University of Florida where she graduated proudly, and while at Florida’s finest school-The the University of Florida, that was where she began her journalism career.
She majored in Telecommunications and Political Science. The Haiti earthquake occurred during her last semester at The University of Florida and she took a camera and embedded it with a medical group traveling from Atlanta to Haiti to cover the event.
She also joined Univision Orlando where she studied Spanish, reporting, and anchoring. During that time she was able to have an interview with former Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Senator Marco Rubio as they ran against each other in primaries. In addition, she has also worked at WESH-TV.
