Maria LaRosa is an American meteorologist working for NBC 4 as a weekday morning meteorologist from 4 am. She joined the NBC 4 news team in July 2019, after previously working for The Weather Channel.
The Hudson Valley is where LaRosa was born and later on, she was brought up in Bergen County. Prior to joining WNBC, she worked at The Weather Channel in Atlanta where she served as a co-anchor of a number of broadcasts such as; Wake Up with Al, America’s Morning Headquarters, and Weekend Recharge. In addition, before Maria joined The Weather Channel, he worked for CBS 3/WYW-TV in Philadelphia where he served as a weekday morning and noon meteorologist.
Furthermore, LaRosa has also worked for ABC affiliate WTVM-TV in Columbus Georgia, and Fox affiliate WXIX-TV in Cincinnati where he served as a meteorologist. LaRosa was awarded by the American Meteorological Society (AMS) with its seal of approval as a certified broadcasting meteorologist. In addition, she attended Penn State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
