Marc Martinez is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who is currently working at Fox10. He serves as the co-anchor of Fox10Xtra News which airs at 7 pm alongside Ellen McNamara and the anchor of the 6 and 10 p.m newscast. In addition, he joined the KSAZ-TV news team as a reporter in June 2002.
During Martinez’s journalism career, he worked in Nevada, Las Vegas, California, and Fresno before he began working at FOX10. In addition, some of his most memorable stories include being one of the only journalists allowed aboard a space shuttle, flying with the Canadian Snowbirds aerial team, and the Arizona wildfire.
He attended Washington State where he graduated with honors with a degree in journalism and political science in 1995. Furthermore, for his outstanding work as an anchor, he has been awarded an Associated Press award for breaking news coverage, and an Electronic Media award prior to being nominated for four Emmy awards. During his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
