Marc Cota-Robles is an American anchor working for ABC 7 as a weekend morning anchor. He joined the ABC 7 team in June 2014.
Orange County is Marc’s native home and he attended Chapman University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast television journalism. While Robles works at ABC7, he has reported on many breaking stories, such as; the destructive Thomas Fire in Ventura, the Las Vegas mass shooting, and the mudslide aftermath in Montecito.
Prior to joining the ABC7 team in June of 2014, he worked at many stations on California’s Central Coast between Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara inclusive; KKFX, FOX 11, KCOY 12, KCBA FOX 35, and KION 46 where he served as an evening news anchor. In addition, he started his career at KVII-TV, the ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas in 2006, as a morning news anchor. Furthermore, before joining the broadcasting industry, he drove open-wheel race cars, competing in the Pro Mazda National Championship.
