Marc Brown is an American anchor and reporter working for ABC 7 as the co-anchor of the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. He joined the ABC 7 team in March 1989, after previously working for KFMB.

Los Angeles is Brown’s native home and he attended Narbonne High School where he graduated proudly, Later on, he joined the University of Southern California where he earned a major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science in 2004. In addition, Marc secured his first on-air job at KIEM-TV in Eureka, California in 1984, as an anchor and reporter.

Later on, Marc relocated to Reno, Nevada where he worked at KOLO-TV as an anchor and reporter. He has also worked at KFMB-TV in San Diego, California, and Nevada, KNTV in San Jose, California where he also served as an anchor and reporter. Furthermore, he joined the ABC7/ KABC-TV team in 1989 as a reporter for the 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts. In addition, Brown also served as a weekend anchor when he joined the station.

Over the years, Brown has won an Associated Press award, six Emmy awards, a Golden Mike award, and excellence in TV News reporting he received a Radio and Television News Directors Association award. In addition, he is actively involved in the community as he serves as a Master of Ceremonies for community events and as a speaker at schools.
