Scarpino earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Mississippi in 2020. She has worked as a multimedia reporter for FOX News since January 2022. In this role, she covered a wide range of business and breaking news topics for FOX News Channel (FNC), including the United Auto Workers strike, the implosion of the Titanic, and the border surge in Texas and Arizona. She also contributed six weeks of her time to FNC’s 2022 midterm election coverage, covering the Pennsylvania Senate contest between Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman.
In the past, Scarpino worked as a bureau reporter for Huntsville, Alabama’s WAFF-TV, an NBC affiliate. While she worked there, she covered breaking news that affected the entire Huntsville region, such as tornadoes that killed people, 3M’s $100 million settlement with local agencies, and several high-profile murder cases. She also covered the theft and ethics trial of the longest-serving sheriff in the state.
In addition to her career, Scarpino worked as a weekly weather reporter for the Ole Miss and Lafayette County news station from 2016 to 2017. She also worked as an intern at WGNO ABC26, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Young Hollywood in Greater Los Angeles Area. Her duties there included assisting the Social Media Coordinator at the world’s premiere entertainment brand and the leading producer and distributor of digital content geared towards Millennial and Gen-Z audiences.
