Lynette Adams is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at WHEC-TV. She serves as a veteran anchor and reporter from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. on WHEC-TV and on News10NBC at Noon.
She has been a Rochester resident longer than any other place and currently, she refers to “Flour City” home. Being a journalist is her passion and she would love to make a difference in her area of residence.
Syracuse, New York is her native home. She attended Oakwood University where she graduated proudly. Later on, she was able to secure her first job at WHEN Radio in Syracuse where she served as a news writer for morning drive radio. From there, she then secured a job serving as a staff writer for the Syracuse Newspapers. However, her dream was always to work in Television and after 2 1/2 years, her first television job was at WWLP TV-22 an NBC affiliate in Springfield, Mass.
After 3 1/2 years, she left Western Massachusetts for News10NBC in Rochester, and for the past 28 years, she has been a fixture at WHEC-TV. During her leisure time, she loves hanging out with family, and friends and loves fashion. In addition, she also enjoys teaching women how to create healthy glowing skin, working out, and decorating.
